Visionary Dry Eye Institute of Georgia

Patient Support

Exciting Announcement from the Visionary Dry Eye Institute!

We are thrilled to introduce our first-of-its-kind Peer-to-Peer Dry Eye Support Group, created to empower and guide patients living with chronic dry eye disease. Spearheaded by Dr. Davison, this initiative is designed to provide hope, community, and real-life guidance for those navigating their diagnosis.

Living with a chronic condition can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone. Our program connects newly diagnosed patients with mentors—people who’ve been through the challenges and come out stronger. They’ll offer support, share their personal experiences, and help you discover how to thrive with chronic dry eye.

Rachel Goergen

Rachel is a mom of two teenagers and a part-time physician recruiter, passionate about maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. Her supportive nature, professional expertise, and faith-driven optimism make her an incredible mentor.

Pooja

At age 35, Pooja was diagnosed with recurrent corneal erosion and MGD in early 2024. She’s successfully managing her symptoms and is excited to help others begin their dry eye journey with confidence.

This support group is about more than managing symptoms—it’s about building hope, learning from others’ experiences, and finding strength in a like-minded community. With treatment options evolving rapidly and new research coming to light, this peer-to-peer program bridges the gap to ensure no patient feels lost along the way.

Together, we’ll thrive beyond dry eye.
